Returns policy

Please consider the following details carefully when making your purchase and please remember that the Msafiri In Action online charity shop is a fundraising activity.

You may have noticed that we source our products from fair trade or community groups that provide vocational skills, education or community income to those who need it most.  Nearly all of our products are handmade and often made from recycled materials so no two products are exactly alike but this character is what we love about the products we sell.  It is important to consider that some items may have uneven, rough, unfinished or sharp edges or points; and the quality may not be to the level that you might find in a retail shop.

We have made every effort to display and describe as accurately as possible the colors and features of our products that appear in the Msafiri In Action online charity shop. Please remember that sizes and weights listed in the catalogue are approximate because most of the items are handmade from recycled materials.

Msafiri In Action Inc. does not provide refunds on purchases except when required by law. We do not offer a “change of mind” exchange, refund or store credit service however we will endeavour to replace any product that is damaged at the time of delivery or does not match the order made. Purchases may be returned for exchange within 30 days of delivery. We will not accept returns more than 30 days after delivery. There may be limited quantities of products and we are unable to guarantee that the product is available for exchange within any given time.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  Any item not in its original packaging, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error cannot be returned.

If you need to claim for a damaged or incorrect product, send us an email with the details of your transaction to: marie@msafiriinaction.org.

You will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning your item. Postage costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of postage will be deducted from your refund. If you are posting a package over $75, you might like to consider using a trackable service or purchasing postal insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
